Locate and page hospital personnel
HTS
is a top-of-the-line system that replaces and enhances existing
hospital paging systems. Healthcare personnel need only carry
identification card tags (PTags) to have their locations continuously
visible to the system. Whenever within the premises, their
locations can be obtained by authorized staff members with
a simple mouse-click, from any Internet enabled computer.
PTags may also be paged direct from the HTS system. Via their
PTags, personnel can respond to paging calls or indicate "busy"
status. By making valuable information about location and
activity easily available prior to making the paging call,
paging personnel becomes far more accurate, streamlined and
effective. Integrated SMS even enables SMS if the member of
personnel is not in the hospital. Finding and contacting personnel
for urgent medical duties has never been easier.
Patient location monitoring and quarantine
HTS's locating system is ideally suited to monitoring the
locations of certain patients such as children or carriers
of communicable diseases. By assigning PTags to these patients,
their locations can be checked in real-time from any computer.
The PTags can even be designated as "quarantined",
so that alerts will be immediately triggered (in the form
of an alarm, a message on the system, or a paging signal or
SMS to a specified staff member) when the patient moves out
of the designated quarantine area, or comes into contact with
non-quarantined tags. HTS also instantaneously generates detailed
reports on past locations and contact histories for suspected
carriers. Ultimately, HTS forms an integral part of any holistic
plan to combat the spread of contagious diseases, making it
an invaluable tool for any hospital.
Integrated nurse call system
In addition to their locating, paging and quarantine functions,
PTags are handy nurse call buttons, which patients carry on
their persons at all times. Nurses can be alerted to pending
calls via their own PTags, and monitor and manage calls from
the convenience of the HTS user interface. Nurses can also
check the location of the patient through HTS prior to attending
to the call. A detailed history of all calls and subsequent
responses is kept, enabling a detailed analysis of the process
in your hospital. HTS's nurse call feature extends the reach
and increases the convenience of traditional nurse call systems,
with innovative improvements that ultimately enable patients
in your hospital to get better care.
Communication and information sharing
HTS software provides an ideal platform for busy hospital
staff to communicate with each other. Each staff member is
provided with a virtual personal space where he can input,
organize and update information and records, and where others
can drop in to check schedules and contact the workspace owner.
Group discussion boards enable staff to effectively yet conveniently
share information and opinions on patients' cases and department
events. Staff members can log in at any time to contact a
colleague, peruse the latest messages and contribute opinions
- a method ideally suited to the busy hospital environment.
And because HTS is a truly web-based system, it opens up tremendous
possibilities for information sharing across the globe between
both medical and administrative personnel.
Door access control
PTags act as truly contactless door access cards: when a person
carrying an authorized PTag approaches the door, the door
will automatically unlock. This unique solution provides streamlined,
hands-free door access highly suitable for use in hospitals.
Comprehensive access settings for different groups of users
can be conveniently set via HTS, ensuring that visitors do
not wander into restricted areas, and improving security for
patients and the hospital as a whole. HTS's door access solution
gives you peace of mind about the security of restricted areas
of your hospital, while providing convenience for your staff
and patients. As a value-adding feature, HTS can even automatically
generate time attendance charts for hospital staff based on
information gathered as they pass through the main doors.
AV monitoring solution
A real-time monitoring feature integrates streaming video,
audio and still camera. This high quality, flexible viewing
feature allows you to view cycling cameras or stick to one;
you can even open a separate window to view all the cameras
at once. Alternatively, you can use video monitoring by person,
which automatically selects the cameras closest to the member
of personnel, patient or visitor concerned. This gives you
real-time visual and audio information about a person's activities
on top of the locating information provided by the system.
Like the rest of HTS's features, the monitoring solution is
web-based, allowing you to easily integrate cameras in different
locations, and to view them from any Internet enabled computer.
This high quality, user-friendly, seamlessly integrated and
flexible surveillance system will prove to be invaluable in
improving the security of your hospital.
